Well Tyler told me he thought he was getting too old to trick or treat this year. So we are down to two. It was a perfect night for walking the neighborhood!
We carved our pumpkins the night before. Jaylen's is the wolf, Trevor's the skull (pirate theme), and Tyler's was flames (it's hard to see in the picture).
We had a busy week. Tyler and Jaylen went to the Denver Temple on Tuesday. Jaylen's first time ever doing baptisms. Kelsey and I both got to be there with them. I am so proud of them for choosing to do what is right and good.
Then on Thursday school started! Tyler is starting 8th grade at Landmark Academy. Jaylen is in 7th, and Trevor is going into 3rd grade this year.
I hope this is a good school year for them. The house is quiet again and stays clean for a little longer than 10 minutes straight, but I still miss them when I get home.
Now I know what Trevor was doing last week when he wouldn't let anyone come into his room. It may not be pretty, but it's from the heart. It melted my heart, and made my day. He made one for everyone in the family, and if you know how much Trevor loves candy...you'll know how much this means.
Boys can be sweet too. I love my family!
We had a blast at the nuggets game tonight, but it ran a little late for my early risers. They all fell asleep nice and snug in the back seat on the way home. Awww.
Dexter will be forever missed. We got a new kitten this week. Lucy, has the sweetest disposition, and we are all having fun getting to know each other!

What a wonderful time we had this June in Kauai! Na Pali Coast was amazing!!! Snorkeling, Surfing, Swimming, Shave Ice! Sandcastles, Seals, Sea Turtles, oh and did I mention Dolphins?
Well, since we bought our new house in October, there has been tons of work to do. We are trying to get the front yard spruced up and have spent the last couple of weeks working on it. Almost done!
Jaylen had a great birthday yesterday! It was her "Golden Birthday" because she turned 11 on the 11th. She had no school so we went to see Rio2 and enjoyed a gorgeous spring day!!
Jaylen and I had a great day at Winter Park on Friday! Thanks to my good friend Ginger and her daughter Aidrah!
I was getting ready to teach a lesson to the youth about journaling and decided to check out my old blog. I can't believe what an amazing record it is. I decided to start back up again even if it is just for my own kids some day!
I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas! On Thanksgiving this year it was sunny and 70 degrees. Yesterday it was cloudy and 6 degrees! Thank goodness I decided to take some family pictures on Thanksgiving. My babies are growing up, gnarly teeth, talking back and all! I love them soooo much!
